Seven classic and modern Jewish stories by renowned authors—among them, Sholem Aleichem, Isaac Bashevis Singer, Grace Paley, and I. L. Peretz—read by top stars of stage and screen, including Jeff Goldblum, Eli Wallach, Rhea Perlman, Jerry Stiller, Alan Alda, and Isaiah Sheffer, with an introduction by Leonard Nimoy. Originally broadcast on National Public Radio, the series was a co-production of the Yiddish Book Center and KCRW in Santa Monica.
